There is so much vital work being conducted by researchers, educators, community champions, policymakers, and practitioners in rural Canada. With three pillar themes of Technology, Data Governance, and Capacity Building, we want this conference to facilitate conversations and support new networks, allowing attendees to share insights and learn how we can best utilize emerging technologies and data to foster sustainable community development.

We are so excited to introduce you to the Heart of the Prairies.
With planned excursions to rural communities across southwestern Manitoba, we want to demonstrate the beauty and history of rural life.

A special thank you to the Rural Development Institute, the Journal of Rural and Community Development and the Canadian Rural Revitalization Foundation for their support in the organization of this event.
